Paige Carroll, Certified Professional Midwife and Owner

HI, I'm Paige and I am a Licensed Certified Professional Midwife and owner of Welcome Home Midwifery. I received my CPM certification through NARM in November 2018 after nearly 3.5 years of strenuous training through the apprenticeship model of education. During this time I was able to serve nearly 100 people during their pregnancies - including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum times. Since beginning my practice in March of 2019 I have served many families in Knoxville and surrounding areas.
I have a genuine love and passion for what I do. Being able to walk alongside a family during this special time is a privilege, and I am continually honored and humbled to be apart of the journey!
I am married to my best person, Austin, and we have three beautiful, and spunky, children! Ellie, Millie, and Charlie.
Kellie Botts, Registered Nurse, Birth Assistant, Student Midwife

Hi, I’m Kellie and I am a student midwife. I joined the team in the fall of 2022 as a birth assistant and have been learning all about home birth midwifery since then. I earned my bachelor’s degree in nursing from Tennessee Wesleyan College in 2015 and entered the birth world working as a Labor and Delivery RN at the University of Kentucky and University of Tennessee. I’m certified in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation. I’ve worked with a broad spectrum of clients ranging from low risk pregnancies under the care of midwives to high risk acuity and trauma. I fell in love with midwifery after witnessing first-hand the difference that the midwifery model of care makes for women. It’s an honor to be a part of this beautiful process that our bodies are made for.
My husband John is my favorite person, second to my bonus kiddos, Chloe and Jordan. We are a full time homeschool family, and love to spend time training Brazillian Jiu Jitsu together!
Leiann Saniger, Birth and Office Assistant, Student Midwife

I'm Leiann and a mom to 6 kids. I have been a doula since 2013 and I have been a birth assistant at Welcome Home Midwifery since 2019. Birth has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I really felt the strong pull to become a doula after having a wonderful doula at my 5th birth. After that experience I knew I wanted to work in the birth community. My first 5 children had all been born in the hospital and after seeing how beautiful natural birth could be, I had my 6th at home. I'm a firm believer that the human body was made to birth naturally. In addition to my training as a home birth assistant I am currently enrolled at Mercy in Action College of Midwifery to pursue the CPM credential. I am certified in CPR and neonatal resuscitation.
